- PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) offers excellent chemical resistance, comparable to PTFE and ECTFE, but with additional benefits. It has a temperature resistance of –220 °C to +260 °C and is free from processing aids, ensuring the purity of sensitive fluids. Particularly in applications where stainless steel is attacked, such as with iron(III) chloride, the strong adhesion of the PFA lining to stainless steel is crucial. The M+B fittings feature a thicker PFA lining of up to 3mm, making them ideal for demanding applications.
