TheKamlok coupling, also known aslever arm coupling, is based on the US military standardMil A-A-59326Aand is standardised in Europe according toDIN EN 14420-7. These quick couplings allow for a fast and secure connection ofhose lines to pipe systems– particularly for the transport ofliquids and free-flowing materialssuch as granulates.

A special feature:M+Boffers a clever additional safety feature for the lever arms. This prevents accidental opening and reliably compensates for the system-related disadvantages of the lever mechanism.

Technical information

  • Standards: DIN EN 14420-7 (compatible with MIL A-A-59326A)
  • Threads: Flat sealing according to ISO 228; thread lengths comparable to DIN EN 14420-5
  • Operating pressure: Standard range of –0.8 to 16 bar at 65 °C; aluminium versions up to 10 bar; high-pressure versions available up to 60 bar
  • Materials:
    • Fittings: Brass, stainless steel, aluminium, polypropylene
    • Coupling seals: NBR, FKM, CSM, FEP, PTFE, silicone
    • Thread seals: PTFE, PU, FKM, EPDM, NBR, silicone – partially approved according toEU 1935/2004andFDAfor food contact

Field of application

This quick coupling is used to connecthose lines to each otheror withpipeline systems– particularly for the transport ofliquids and free-flowing solids. Due to its origin from an American military standard, it is largelycompatible with Kamlok couplings from other manufacturers, even if they are not explicitly manufactured according to DIN EN 14420-7.

Thanks to thesimple and quick handlingit is preferred atloading and unloading pointsused, e.g. in industry, logistics or plant engineering.
