Water hose couplings– such as the well-knownGEKA coupling– are quick-release connections for hoses, primarily used in water supply, irrigation, horticulture, construction, and industry.
They operate with abayonet lock with claws, which is locked by a¼ turn. In the middle, there is a seal that ensures a secure, drip-free connection. The system isuniversal– all GEKA-compatible couplings have the sameclaw spacing of 40 mm, regardless of the hose diameter.
GEKA couplings are available inbrassandstainless steel. For hose connections, sizes from10 mm to 38 mmare offered. Threaded connections are available asinternal thread (IG)andexternal thread (AG)in sizes3/8" to 1½". Depending on the requirements, seals made ofNBR(for water applications) orFKM(for chemically demanding media) are used.
