The most common closure types are:

  • Tri-Sure S56×4– fine thread for special industrial applications
  • Tri-Sure S64×5– slightly larger fine thread closure
  • Mauser S70×6– coarse thread, widely used in the chemical and food industries
  • Many barrels havetwo openings: one large (e.g. S70×6) for main dispensing and one smaller (e.g. S56×4 or S64×5) for venting.
  • The plugs often have a3/4" female thread insertintegrated to accommodate smaller connections, venting valves or pump adapters.
