Breathable dryer for 200L barrel, refillable
The desiccant breather for 200L drums reliably prevents moist ambient air from entering the container. It has been specially developed for the storage and processing of hygroscopic or sensitive materials where moisture can lead to quality losses.
The incoming air is filtered and dried during pressure equalization, which permanently protects the contents of the barrel from water absorption. The desiccant contained in the barrel changes color from orange to green when saturated, so that the operating status can be visually recognized at any time.
Once completely discolored, the filter contents can be replaced easily and inexpensively. This makes the breathing dryer permanently reusable. One filling is sufficient for approximately 45 emptying cycles of a 200L barrel.
The robust housing made of PMMA and aluminum is chemical-resistant and durable. High drying performance is achieved thanks to the precise sealing with an NBR gasket and the combination of silica and activated carbon as adsorbent material.
