The vent valve operates automatically and ensures constant pressure stability in closed systems. It is installed exclusively in an upright position at the highest point of the pipe system to ensure optimum venting and aeration.
Air in the system escapes through the valve. Incoming water lifts an internal ball, which closes the seal and prevents water from escaping. When emptying, the ball falls back, the valve opens, and air can flow in. This prevents damage caused by negative pressure.
The housing is made of UV-resistant polyamide (PA) and is completely metal-free, making it corrosion-resistant and durable. Compared to PVC-U valves, polyamide is suitable for higher continuous temperatures up to 60 °C, offering more application possibilities in continuous operation.
