Reducing sleeve, female thread, brass
The brass reducing sleeve is used to connect female threads of different sizes in piping and sanitary systems. Thanks to its CW617N brass construction, it is durable, corrosion-resistant, and suitable for drinking water pipes. The standardized BSP thread according to ISO 228-1 is not self-sealing and is sealed with Teflon tape or hemp.
The sleeve can be used universally in sanitary, heating, and plant engineering and can withstand temperatures up to 150 °C and pressures up to 16 bar.
