• Medium & area of application: Stainless steel fittings offer maximum resistance to aggressive media and meet hygiene standards in food technology. For water, air or oils, brass threaded fittings are often economical and robust, while polypropylene fittings impress with their low weight and good chemical resistance.
• Threads & standards: Ensure that the thread types (e.g. BSP/G, NPT, DIN 11851) match so that the connection to the pipe and the counterpart fits perfectly.
