The container is made of durable HDPE plastic and is protected by a galvanised mesh cage, making it both lightweight and extremely durable. IBC containers are available with a standard volume of 1000 litres. Perfect for placing on Euro pallets and for mobile use. Variants with UN approval are also available as an option. These are particularly suitable for transporting sensitive or hazardous substances, for example in the chemical industry, the food sector or in agriculture and forestry.

Thanks to well-thought-out details such as large screw-on openings (screw cap), practical outlet taps and various connection options, M+B Fluid's IBC containers offer ideal conditions for a wide range of applications: from storing water, rainwater or industrial liquids to use as rainwater tanks, process containers or for filling stations. Special designs such as stainless steel containers are also available, depending on requirements.

Tips for selection and application

What you should consider when selecting and using an IBC container:

• UN approval is required for the storage or transport of chemicals or dangerous goods.
• If the container is to be used as a rainwater tank, a model with an opaque container is recommended to prevent algae growth.
• Agitators and heating systems are available to support processes inside the container, such as mixing or heating.
• Regularly check the screw cap and tap for leaks.
