Storz couplings
The proven choice for firefighting technology, industry and agriculture! They enable a quick, rotatable and pressure-tight connection between hoses and fittings. Thanks to the symmetrical design with hook profile, coupling is simple with a 120° turn. No directional specification required.
The ideal quick coupling for water and extinguishing agents
In Europe, Storz couplings made of aluminium are among the most commonly used quick coupling systems. Aluminium offers the ideal combination of low weight, high strength and good corrosion resistance. Depending on your stability requirements and budget, we offer both forged and cast versions.
Storz couplings made of aluminium really come into their own in mobile applications, where every kilogram counts. While the cast version is an economical solution, forged couplings offer superior dimensional stability and breaking strength for the highest safety requirements.
Technical features at a glance
Our Storz couplings made of aluminium meet the highest quality standards:
- Material: Aluminium , either high-quality forged or precision cast.
- Sizes: Nominal sizes D, C, B, A and special sizes (from DN 25 to DN 150).
- Connection types: hose nozzle , female thread, male thread or blind coupling.
- Standardisation: Manufactured in accordance with DIN 14302 to DIN 14308 (depending on the design).
- Operating pressure: Safe use up to approx. 16 bar (depending on size).
- Seals: Standard in NBR or EPDM, optionally also available in FKM.
Your advantages at a glance
- High compatibility: Can be easily connected to all Storz systems of the same nominal size (same clevis spacing).
- Easy handling: Quick and secure connection without tools, even at extreme temperatures.
- Weather-resistant: Low corrosion and ideal for long-term outdoor use.
- Versatility: Ideally suited for water, extinguishing agents, service water and many process fluids.
Typical areas of application
- Fire brigade & disaster control: Reliable water transport in emergencies.
- Industry: Process water pipes and stationary fire extinguishing systems.
- Agriculture: irrigation systems and manure management.
- Construction: Mobile water supply and groundwater lowering.
