Brass couplings
Proven connection technology for water, air, oil and neutral media
They are versatile, durable and a real standard for water-based, air-conducting or neutral applications. They combine high mechanical strength with good media compatibility. Ideal for daily use in workshops, construction, agriculture or industry.
M+B Fluid offers a comprehensive range of brass couplings, from Camlock and TW to garden hose systems and quick-connect couplings, some of which also feature a galvanised surface for additional protection.
Our products are the economical choice for many industrial and commercial applications.
Overview of coupling types
Brass camlock couplings
- According to MIL A-A-59326A / DIN EN 14420-7
- Type A-F, compatible with other materials (e.g. aluminium or stainless steel)
- Ideal for water, oils, air, glycol, neutral chemicals
TW couplings (tank truck couplings)
- DIN EN 14420-6 / DIN 28450
- Classic in industrial and waste disposal technology
- Also available in combination with stainless steel rings
Garden hose couplings / claw couplings
- Plug-in, quick, with O-ring seal
- For water, cleaning or compressed air pipes
Plug-in couplings/quick couplings made of brass
- For air and liquids in low-pressure systems
- Variants with non-return valve, external thread, spout or bayonet
Material properties & options
- Brass, polished or galvanised/nickel-plated
- Good media resistance to water, glycol, oils, compressed air
- Robust construction, even under mechanical stress
- Seals available: NBR, EPDM, FKM (depending on model)
