Socket nipple female thread reduced male thread PP
This polypropylene (PP) reducing socket nipple is used to securely connect pipes and fittings with different thread sizes. The thread complies with the BSP pipe thread G standard and is not self-sealing. Teflon tape, hemp, or suitable sealants are required for sealing.
The material is food-safe, tasteless, and odorless, and is suitable for drinking water, beverages, wine, and other nutritious liquids. PP also has high resistance to inorganic salts, weak organic acids, alkalis, alcohols, and some oils. It also offers stable mechanical properties when exposed to cleaning chemicals.
The temperature range extends from 0 °C to 80 °C, and the working pressure is up to 10 bar at 20 °C. In addition, the electrically insulating material protects against electrochemical corrosion caused by stray currents. Weather, ozone, and UV resistance also enable outdoor use.
