Reducing nipple, external thread, stainless steel
This reducing nipple made of V4A stainless steel (material 1.4401 / AISI 316) is used to securely and permanently connect pipe connections with different external thread sizes. It is manufactured using CNC machining in accordance with ISO 7/1, and the material is resistant to corrosion, chemical media, and high temperatures.
With a temperature range of –20 °C to 200 °C and a nominal pressure of up to 20 bar, the nipple is suitable for sanitary engineering, the food industry, chemical and plant engineering, and applications in corrosive environments.

The conical R thread is not self-sealing. Sealing is achieved using hemp, PTFE tape, or a suitable sealing paste.
