Socket nipple Internal thread External thread reduced Brass
This brass reducing socket nipple UNE EN 12165 enables the connection of pipes and fittings with different thread sizes. The thread complies with the BSP ISO 228-1 standard and is not self-sealing. Sealing is achieved with Teflon tape, hemp, or a suitable sealing paste.
Thanks to its temperature range of -20 °C to 150 °C and a maximum working pressure of 16 bar (with water as the medium), the component is suitable for a wide range of applications in sanitary engineering, heating systems, drinking water supply, and mechanical and plant engineering.
