In particularly demanding applications such as in the chemical industry, pharmaceuticals or food technology, couplings and fittings must be resistant to media, hygienic and diffusion-tight.

M+B Fluid's PFA-coated couplings combine the mechanical strength of stainless steel with the chemical resistance of fluoropolymers. 

Ideal for critical media, high temperatures or ultra-pure processes. They offer even greater resistance than many standard plastic couplings.

The range includes camlock couplings, clamp connections (tri-clamp), TW couplings (tankers) and matching stainless steel fittings – all with a professional PFA (perfluoroalkoxy) internal coating.

In addition to these high-performance products, we also stock plastic couplings made of PP and PVDF for less critical applications.

Technical characteristics

• Temperature range: from -220 °C to +260 °C
• PFA coating thickness: 1–3 mm, evenly applied
• Highly pure & diffusion-tight – even with long standby times
• Chemically resistant to: e.g. iron(III) chloride, sulphuric acid, caustic soda, solvents
• Conductive versions available: <106Ω surface resistance
• Approved for food and pharmaceuticals in accordance with EU 1935/2004, FDA & USP VI (depending on model)
• Stainless steel support: usually 1.4404 or 1.4571 (V4A / SS316Ti)

If your application does not require a metal coupling, our plastic couplings made of PP are a cost-effective and corrosion-free alternative.
